Data Center Administrator (Night Shift)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Key Purpose of the Role:
  • In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and support of our IT infrastructure related solutions during Eastern Standard Time (8:00PM - 6:00AM MYT). You will be joining an international team of Engineers from Europe, Asia and the United States, contributing to optimize and transform our IT infrastructure services continuously.

Strategic Outcome:
  • Combine technical knowledge and experiences in Datacenter server hosting infrastructure to deliver 2nd level support and engineering for Datacenter Services that fulfil the business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work during Night-time (8:00PM - 6:00AM MYT) with supervision from US
  • Fulfil and automate service request delivery by leveraging your advanced PowerShell scripting capabilities
  • Operate and support our global enterprise infrastructure (2000 Server, 15'000 Users) based on technologies from VMWare, Microsoft, Dell Technologies
  • Provide professional and customer focused support services in the 2nd level support tier
  • Participate in daily monitoring, troubleshooting, on-call duties and maintenance activities
  • Constantly document, update and enhance our operating procedures

Mandatory
  • Proven experience in scripting, automating and orchestrating infrastructure related procedures (PowerShell, others welcome)
  • At least 3 years' experience in implementing, managing and supporting enterprise datacenter solutions with a focus on VMWare and Microsoft Server solutions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems (or a related field), or equivalent experience.

  • VMware: vSphere, vDS, vSAN, vRealize (Operations, LogInsight, Automation), Horizon View, Tanzu
  • Dell: VxRail, PowerEdge, VMAX, RecoverPoint for VM, Cisco SAN
  • Microsoft: Server OS, SCCM, MDT/WDS, SQL, Azure
  • RedHat: RHEL, Ansible, Satellite, Openshift
  • Methodologie's: ITIL (ServiceNow), Agile, Lean, DevOps
  • Proven experience in creating documentation, both technical and end-user facing
  • Experience in operating public multi cloud (Azure, Alibaba) based services such as IaaS, DB PaaS, Containerization platforms, IoT Frameworks
