Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee information in SAP HCM as required (new hire, terminations, pay/position changes, organizational assignments, personal data, provide reports as requested, etc.)
  • Assist with recruitment support functions as needed ie scheduling interviews, drafting offer letters, sending new and post hire information
  • Conduct new hire orientations as required
  • Manage creation and maintenance of personnel files
  • Work with the recruiting and HR team to complete I-9 and e-verify for new hires.
  • Support existing and new employee engagement activities (Staff Morale Activities Committee, Above and Beyond, Service Awards, etc)
  • Maintain HR data tracking outside of SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) (e.g., tuition reimbursement, progressive discipline reports, org charts, and various reports).
  • Assist with maintenance of SharePoint site
  • Assist with job fairs, Manufacturing Day and other company initiatives.
  • Complete other duties or projects and/or programs as required.

What You Need to Succeed

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma
  • Two (2) plus years of HR experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with personnel at various levels within the organization.
  • Proven PC skills and experience using various software packages are required, i.e. Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Follow up and detail orientation.
  • Tact, diplomacy and the ability to enlist the support of others.
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of employees required.
  • Required to adhere to high levels of confidentiality and integrity at all times.
  • Outstanding time management skills and the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
