Inventory Specialist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Mettler Toledo is looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for maintaining high levels of accuracy and record keeping, as well as inspecting incoming and outgoing inventory.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Ensuring inventory counts are completed regularly and on time
  • Investigate inventory issues
  • Perform necessary inventory reconciliation and adjustments for items
  • Monitor/ manage inventory in PRD to ensure that materials within area are shipped properly
  • investigate and determine root cause for items in problem area as well as disposition and or resolution of materials
  • Provide back up for Inventory Analyst and Inventory Coordinator
  • Coordinating the pulling of materials in a timely manner and identify the best way to handle projects

What You Need to Succeed

  • Associates degree preferred, or 4 years working knowledge of warehousing and inventory control
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple objectives with minimal direct supervision
  • Experience with SAP software preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with a diverse group of people
