Service Technical Support Supervisor

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

METTLER-TOLEDO Process Analytics (MTPRO-US http://www.mt.com/pro) is a leading supplier to end-users and system integrators for liquid analytical measurement solutions to control production processes.

The Service Technical Support Supervisor is in charge of supporting Field and Depot technician daily activities. As the direct supervisor of the Depot Service Technicians, he/she is responsible for the team's execution of the RMAs in a qualitative and timely manner.  The Service Supervisor also supports delivery of Field visits by providing technical assistance to field Service Technicians. He/She will ensure that all assignments are executed according to the standards with the right documentation. The Service Technical Support Supervisor reports directly to the Service Operation Manager.

Direct supervisor of 3 Depot Service Technicians with performance management responsibilities
Provide depot technician daily guidance
Ensure a high throughput of the depot team as well as the quickest turn-around time possible
Drive Service operational excellence and high customer value by ensuring all services are conducted according to standard procedure
Facilitate the execution of setup and configuration as well as IQ/OQ by helping to ensure the readiness of the customers
Develop Field Technician skills ensuring all products can be serviced and repaired in the field and Depot Technicians are cross trained
Coordinate and collaborate effectively with the Back-office to ensure that scheduling is efficiently processed. 
Onboard efficiently new players
Perform Depot work when needed to support the team and occasionally Service visit on the field when needed

What You Need to Succeed

Associate degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
2+ years  of experience in a supervisor or manager role preferred 
4-5 years of experience in a service role
Preferred experience working in the region’s key industrial market segments (Biopharma, power, chemical processing, brewing, F&B, general industrial)
Preferred technical aptitude and familiarity with liquid analytical products and applications in key market segments
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Willing to travel up to 10-20% 
Ability to use different systems including CRM, ECC Technician dashboard
Self-motivated individual with a results-oriented approach who can work under minimum supervision
