Our Opening and Your Responsibilities



• Performs calibrations and preventative maintenance duties according to METTLER TOLEDO procedures and customer requirements. 

• Actively updates and ensures data integrity of the service database.

• Maintain the balance inventory, calibration due dates and assigned techs:

        Co-ordinate balance calibration with relevant Techs 
        Sending the replacement balance
        Coordinate where to ship the balance
        Scheduling the calibration of balance that is due.

• Create the balance logs for the calibrated balances

• Enter the Balance calibration certificate details into GPSS

• IQ/OQ, PM and calibrations on Mettler Toledo equipment (ex: Smart check, Liquidator, Bench Smart etc.). Onsite repair fix as needed.

• Ensures productivity and other assigned KPIs are met.

• Ensures compliance with all company and customer safety and quality policies and procedures.

• Works to ensure Service team (Onsite and Depot) uptime requirements are met and that all work assignments are completed on time.

• Accurately completes and submits all required certificates as required via company issued Laptop PC in a professional manner and maintains a close professional relationship with external/internal customers, sales, technicians and other leaders.

• Completes Kronos time keeping on a daily basis and insure punches are entered for each activity as they occur.

•Works to ensure an atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork with field and service support colleagues. 

• Must comply with the Company Safety policy. 
 
•All other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed



• Driving License: Including good driving record

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum of one year related experience with Manufacturing, Instrumentation, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and prior work experience. Previous knowledge or work experience with pipettes preferred. 
        
• Language Skills: Must have strong interpersonal and verbal (English) communication skills. Must have good written communication skills, as there will be frequent email communication with customers and associates and daily completion of service reports.

• Mechanical Skills: Must have good mechanical aptitude and the ability to disassemble and reassemble small precision mechanical instruments. Also must have strong organizational skills to successfully develop and schedule, process, and complete multiple tasks.
  
• Computer Skills: Must have good computer skills, including use of email and common Microsoft Office programs.
