Field Sales Supervisor, Northwest

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

In addition to maintaining their own sales territory (sales targets, pipelines, activities and customers), provides tactical support for their assigned Field sales representatives.  Duties include assisting reps with problem resolution, weekly call-ins, training/skill development (phone presence, active listening, role plays, etc.), opportunity targeting/tracking and joint field visits.  Primary duties also include developing a comprehensive plan to ensure broad penetration of accounts with RAININ solutions, understanding customer requirements from both a business and technical perspective.

• Maintain own sales territory (sales targets, pipelines, and customers).
• Maintain focus on opportunity pipelines for assigned reps to support category revenue goals.
• Develop and maintain consistent forecasting accuracy and report forecasting updates to District Manager.
• Contribute to development of marketing and sales strategies to support growth targets in categories.
• Assess local market trends around potential challenges and opportunities to grow business.
• Ensures all sales and customer issues are addressed and responded to in a timely and professional manner. Investigates and resolves customer problems and/or complaints ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain excellent relations with internal and external customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. 
• As part of developing territory strategies and plans; leverages internal resources, service specialists, ComOps, Marketing, and other tools at their disposal to support growth and strategic initiatives.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Strong sales drive. Proven ability to sell and consistently exceed sales quotas. 
  • Leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach. Coaching, mentoring and team-building skills and a passion to exceed our customers’ expectations.
  • Technical competency in product knowledge, product application and product positioning. Strong understanding of the consultative sales approach.
  • Decision making: Ability to analyze, synthesize, evaluate and make decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster excellent relationships, trust and credibility at all levels of the organization, with the ability to create a partnership atmosphere with internal and external resources.
  • Experience with CRM systems and other sales-related software. 
  • Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to communicate information clearly and concisely, over the phone and in person at the appropriate level of the audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and communicate a vision with a passionate belief in, and commitment to customer service.
