Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Are you organized and like to plan? Apply to the Master Scheduler position here at Troemner! The Master Scheduler is the bridge between the procurement, planning, and production teams. This position ensures the orders scheduled to build new product can move through supply chain and production seamlessly. In turn, product is delivered on-time to satisfied customers and monthly revenue targets are reached. By analyzing data and planning tools, the Master Scheduler is a crucial role in balancing the supply and demand of parts, along with the production success of the company.

Here's what you would be responsible for: 
  • Plans, issues and monitors master schedule by analyzing a variety of input data to assure the timely delivery and efficient use of resources required to meet production targets. 
  • Ensures master schedule is feasible, balanced, and agreed upon between all operational departments such as Machine Shop, Weights, and Lab Equipment, as well as coordinate, as needed, with Sales department.
  • Works with department schedulers to ensure schedules are updated and revised based on changes generated by such factors as engineering changes, customer requests, and supply chain disturbances. 
  • Maintains material master data related to Planning and Scheduling to ensure proper settings and product supply. 
  • Align ERP capacity availability and requirements with physical shop floor availability and requirements.
  • Works with manufacturing engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
  • Other duties may be assigned. 

What You Need to Succeed

Here's what we are looking for: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in Master or Production Scheduling, Manufacturing or Material Planning, or master degree within supply chain management. 
  • Exposure within a technical engineering environment, especially Engineered-to-order
  • Working knowledge of Production Control methods and Demand/Capacity Planning, preferably as Master Scheduler
  • Experience with SAP is a big plus, along with advanced Excel skills.
