Service and Project Manager for Data Center & Network

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Manage projects in METTLER TOLEDO's global data center / network infrastructure, including cloud integration, i.e.:
    -Assess application portfolio, define and realize transformation strategy leveraging public cloud services.
    -Drive CMDB enhancements, including improving data quality, relations and integrations into our processes.
  • Coordinate detailed project plans and manage all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget and time constraints.
  • Manage and support service management in different infrastructure areas:
    -Handle internal customer service interactions and reporting.
    -Maintain strong relationships with internal customers and third-party vendors.
    -Develop problem management and service improvement plans.
    -Ensure team follows best practices and maintain service level agreements.
    -Assist with or perform administrative tasks.
  • Understand and gain knowledge on upcoming possible technology changes within the projects.
  • Work with other Solutions Architect’s on different projects outside the datacenter / network area.
  • Manage and coordinate escalations from operation team on critical events.

What You Need to Succeed

  • At least 5 years’ experience with focus on network and datacenter solutions in enterprise environments. 
  • Several years of Service Management and Project Management experience in a global environment. 
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, including the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Internal customer orientation, ability to develop strong relationships with other teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-driven team player with a result-oriented and positive attitude.
  • Certifications in Project Management (CAPM, PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
  • Certifications in ITIL (like: ITIL v3 Intermediate, ITIL v4 Specialist) is a plus.
