Manufacturing Engineer

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Mettler Toledo is currently hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support our assembly operations and be the champion for our lean manufacturing culture.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Providing root cause analysis support to eliminate blocks or inefficiencies driving toward performance improvements

  • Supporting new material setup activities and manage related logistics

  • Leading significant operational improvement projects including lean work center design

  • Directing and implementing lean and green activities as a leader in our Mettler Toledo Lean Culture

  • Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical personnel including production and global teams

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience working in partnership with operations and engineering to examine and improve processes for fulfillment, product launch, and phase-out

  • An associate's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field with two years of experience

  • Experience in a manufacturing as the lean manufacturing champion

  • Experience leading multiple tasks, projects, and objectives through to completion with minimal direct supervision

  • Technical capability related to networks, serial communications, and electrical apparatuses

As a Plus, Do You Also Have?

  • A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and three years of related work experience

  • Lean certification

  • New product introduction experience

  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Access software
