Material Coordinator

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Under supervision, this position will perform work involving retrieving of parts from the Fabrication work centers and the delivery of these parts to the next work center listed on the work order, creating kits per the Fabrication schedule for each customer order, delivery of completed kits to assembly staging area, and cycle counting of stock parts located in the Fabrication Department. Act as first point of contact for internal questions regarding past due or missing fabricated parts and the tracking of completed kits produced per shift against the targeted goal established by the Production Scheduler.    

What You Need to Succeed

  • Able to follow written and verbal directions
  • Must be Organized and able to multi-task
  • Must be able to respond quickly to demand
  • Ability to follow fabrication schedule and give feedback to supervisors and co-workers
  • Knowledge of general fabrication and assembly work flow is preferred
  • Ability to operate motorized fork lift equipment and manual pallet jacks
