Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are seeking a Marketing Analytics Developer in Columbus, OH, as part of the Marketing Technology Team. This team provides web development services for the METTLER TOLEDO corporate website ( along with other customer, partner, and internally leveraged web applications for our global digital marketing initiatives. This Columbus-based development team works closely with our business analysts and marketing program leaders in our offices in Switzerland, Spain, Poland and India. 

This position is responsible for technical development and implementation of Adobe Launch and Adobe Analytics solutions for the Marketing Technology department. You will work closely with Web Developers and the Analytics Lead to implement solutions that are critical to tracking the success of digital campaigns and marketing programs on our websites. Your robust tagging and data collection solutions will drive direction, focus, and activities of the entire digital marketing team, including SEO, SEA, Social Media and Email marketing experts in additional to the web team. 

  • Configure, administer, implement rules, data elements, and extensions in Adobe Launch for multiple web properties 
  • Work on solutions integrating with our own Adobe analytics platform, or integration into 3rd party platforms 
  • Architect and develop technical requirements documents to describe how we will implement tracking solutions to fulfill business requirements 
  • Work with QA team to ensure data quality before releasing changes 
  • Work with Web Developers as needed to adjust information in data layer 
  • Manage publishing process of approved changes in Adobe Launch 
  • Understand Adobe Analytics and work closely with Business Analytics team to provide solutions for tracking new or existing web marketing functionality 
  • Troubleshoot, debug, resolve tracking issues identified by reporting 
  • Help define future Adobe Launch / Adobe Analytics roadmap 
  • Use industry best practices for digital marketing solutions

What You Need to Succeed

  • Digital analytics work experience working specifically with Adobe Analytics & DTM/Launch preferred but will consider experience with other tag management systems (i.e. Ensighten, Google Tag Manager, Tealium, etc.) 
  • JavaScript, front-end web technologies, and other fundamentals such as HTML, CSS selectors, etc. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot analytics tagging issues with common tools such as Experience Cloud Debugger, browser network calls, Charles, or others 
  • Experience driving integrations across platforms and outside of Adobe solutions 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business information, computer science, or related major; will consider equivalent business experience. 
  • Relevant work experience 
  • Self-starter with self-initiative and direction 
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills 
  • Ability to react quickly and responsibly to operational issues on public websites 
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager 
  • Experience working with geographically separate project teams 
  • Experience with object-oriented design and design patterns 
  • Experience with REST services and JSON data format 
  • Experience with web performance optimization 
  • This position has the opportunity for some minimal travel, including both domestic and international travel. 
  • The ability to obtain a passport with travel to Switzerland would be required.
