Contract Recruiter (Temporary Assignment)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can seamlessly add to the team beginning immediately and stay on with us for the summer, possibly into the fall. As our contract recruiter, you will carry all the responsibilities of a full-cycle recruiter including:
  • Coordinating and fulfilling the recruitment process for assigned requisitions from beginning to end. We will help you quickly become an expert within one area of Mettler Toledo and focus your open requisitions within that discipline.
  • Meeting with hiring managers to understand job requirements, create compelling job postings, prescreen candidates, source candidates using various tools and databases. We will set you up for success.
  • Scheduling and coordinating the logistics for interviewing to bring hiring teams together to meet your presented candidates.
  • Working within the Avature applicant tracking system for all recruitment related work, maintaining data accuracy and following prescribed workflows.

What You Need to Succeed

  • We are looking for an experienced recruiter who can hit the ground running. Ideally you will have a keen understanding of recruiting through at least three years of related work experience.
  • High school diploma; bachelor's degree desired but not required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proven PC skills and experience using various software packages are required, i.e. Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of an applicant tracking system is preferred. Avature is our system of record.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • An extraordinary level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Commitment to follow up and ability to write crystal clear emails
  • Because this is a contract assignment, we will not be the direct employer. We will work with a third party agency to place you on assignment.
  • The ability to work in our office, in Columbus Ohio, most days of the week.
