GL Accountant / Senior GL Accountant

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting duties referring to GL and FA-related transactions of various reporting units.
  • Execute financial data collection and analysis to ensure ledger accuracy and integrity with other systems and data interfaces, in compliance with the Controller’s manual and with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Research, track and resolve accounting problems reported by business units.
  • Post all relevant accounting transactions and review of month-end close including balance sheet account analysis, review, reconciliation & resolution.
  • Manage accounting master data (company code level).
  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual Group reports.
  • Managing accounting master data (company code level).
  • Coordinate the resolution of any intercompany reconciliation issues with impacted business units.
  • Interact with internal and external auditors and supports quarter-end, interim and year-end audits.

What You Need to Succeed

  • At least 3 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting.
  • Very good (B2/C1) knowledge of English.
  • Experience with ERP system, preferably with SAP.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance & Banking, or Economics.
  • Attention to detail, numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make decisions based on independent judgments on non-standard cases.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
