Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle recruitment and onboarding. Build relationships with hiring managers, evaluate position needs and build specific recruiting plans for each opening.
- Ensure legal compliance by implementing applicable corporate procedures and policies for local, state and federal requirements including, but not limited to, EEO, AAP, HIPAA, and OSHA processes and postings.
- Train hiring managers on process and best practices in interviewing. Build and maintain professional relationships with recruitment sources including staffing agencies, colleges, community employment organizations and professional associations.
- Provide data analysis, tracking, integrity and reporting. Act as unit representative to wider group recruiting initiatives.
- Provide coaching and counseling to managers and employees with the support of the Head of HR, and work to resolve employee relations issues quickly. Provide clear and accurate advice in a timely manner.
- Maintain all employee data in SAP and Kronos; enter new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, and all other applicable employee and organizational changes with 100% accuracy.
Maintain a high level of technical proficiency in the SAP HCM module and act as a resource to other HR professionals. Support CRM users in related tasks. - Maintain best in class standards of safety and a hold a leadership role within the safety committee.
- Facilitate activities, projects, and trainings that support the employees and the business. Hold a leadership role in the activities committee.
- General administrative tasks within HR department. Creates and maintain all department files including job folders and personnel files, in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Assist with training needs via co-facilitation and LMS administration
- Payroll backup as needed.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented excellent follow-through and the ability to multi-task.
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Avature or similar program.
- Computer skills: intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Outlook Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiar with Kronos or other time and attendance program.
- Approachable, professional and able to work in a highly confidential environment.
- Strong knowledge and comprehensive understanding of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Strong ability to organize effectively, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly.
- Adaptable to changing business dynamics.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
