Master Data Specialist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The Master Data Specialist is responsible for all data management activities within EU Region. Acts as a data quality gate keeper, interacts with and trains local data stewards, drives change in the region to deepen and widen use of data, standard processes and helps to improve data quality and consistency. Master Data Specialist will also take part in project as data migration support during rollin; data retrofits to sustain data quality level. Within this job person will take ownership for the whole process of data validation for particular object or set of objects. 

Operational tasks and responsibilities:
  • Supporting day-to-day master data management processes within the EU region,
  • Performing quality checks (e.g. deduplication, compliance to the processes) to ensure quality of master data,
  • Fulfilling Service Level Agreements through timely execution of data requests,
  • Monitoring and reporting master data metrics (e.g. ticket resolution success rate, ticket prioritization, etc.),
  • Providing necessary training to local data stewards and power users,
  • Supporting local data stewards and business in any data related issue or request,
  • Participate/Lead regular meetings with Data Stewards,
  • Act as 1st line of support for EU Bus in case of any data related issues.
Project tasks and responsibilities:
  • Coordination activities with key users, BTEs ; IT and data stewards,
  • Reporting to Project Leads and accountable fully for particular data objects,
  • Supports tools development and is Single Point Of Contact for DS/KU during Data maintenance phases and HyperCare period.

What You Need to Succeed

  • At least 2 years working experience with SAP ERP and/or SAP CRM, especially in the area of material or/and vendor data. 
  • Knowledge of MS Teams; MS Excel; SAP MM; MDG-M. 
  • Good understanding of material data management processes and its phases.
  • Understand and respect different cultures.
  • Language skills: Proficient in English.
