Molding Process Engineer

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will use extensive tooling engineering experience to:

·       Develop molding processes and parameters for new and improved products to maximize quality and production.

·       Develop and maintain molding process parameter records.

·       Proactively look for and recommend process improvements.

·       Work closely with the Engineering & Operations Teams to solve complex problems and recommend improvements.

  • Assist with training molding team members.
  • Maintain molding machines, molds and processing area in a safe, clean and orderly condition.

What You Need to Succeed

Applicants should be able to demonstrate proficiency in the following key areas:

  • Strong problem solving abilities with complex molding challenges
  • Hands-on skills with a variety of injection molding processes, materials, and equipment
  • Good communication skills with a diverse team of technicians and engineers
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a productive manner

Applicants should have the following minimum requirements:

·       Associate's degree in a relevant field plus 10 years related experience in an injection molding environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

·       Completion of formal training on the operation of injection molding equipment
