Production Assistant

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are currently hiring a Production Assistant to provide oversight and training to our production operators and assistance to our molding technicians. In this role, you will be:
  • Working closely with our manufacturing departments and quality assurance.
  • Performing various duties related to packaging and molding operations across the range of our pipette products. This includes harvesting and cleaning our products, consolidating and recording all rejected products and properly recycling them.
  • Completing pallets of product and moving them into the warehouse using a pallet jack or electric forklift.
  • Maintaining overall responsibility for the cleanliness of the production areas, products and equipment.
  • Sharing all significant information to the oncoming shift personnel, reporting any problem areas to the shift supervisor.
  • You should expect to lift and move 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds a few times per shift; plus, this job involves standing, squatting, climbing ladders, twisting, bending, and reaching.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A great attention to detail to observe and troubleshoot all aspects of our production environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in an active manufacturing environment.
  • Basic conversational verbal and written English skills.
  • Forklift certification and lockout/tagout training.
  • A commitment to company safety policies to keep yourself, your coworkers, and the workplace operating effectively and safely.
