Sales Engineer

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Create Quotations in SAP CRM
  • Review customer supplied specification packages against current MT design standards
  • Utilize Process flow for Non-standard option creation and pricing in SAP
  • Quote Support for the following areas:
  • Provide quotes, orders, change orders and answer any inquiries on Checkweigher, Metal Detection, X-Ray and Vision equipment.
  • Work with Engineering on specs for equipment to ensure pricing is optimized using MOPO communication tool
  • Perform QA's on process related issues for quotations and order processing
  • Identify Channel Partner Portal, Quote or Price list issues and discrepancies.
  • Phone support to reps and customers for quotes on new equipment
  • Ensures guaranteed specs are achievable when listed on quotation
  • Participate in Trade Shows as requested
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned

What You Need to Succeed

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred   
  • 5 years of technical Sales experience preferred 
  • Experience with ACAD and ETO a plus
  • Familiar with SAP CRM preferred 
  • Knowledge of Metal detection, Checkweigher, X-Ray, Vison, and Track and Trace equipment
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Must be a team player 
  • Ability to manage time effectively while working in a fast paced environment
