Telesales Specialist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The Telesales Specialist is responsible for generating and closing new sales leads through a variety of sources, primarily but not limited to outbound phone sales campaigns and inbound customer requests made both online and through the phone. In addition, the individual offers straightforward technical advice and solutions to enquiring customers, manages the sales needs of small to medium accounts, including marketing and selling products and services to these customers. Also qualifies prospect accounts and end-use information for sales follow-up, conducts all phone sales campaigns, follow-up activities, and accurately records all related data in the CRM. Responsible for marketing service contracts, extended warranties, and professional products. Responsible for sales territory of small/medium accounts as well as remote territory accounts and corresponding yearly sales target. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Overall general and technical knowledge and application of their assigned business area’s product lines and service offerings. 
  • In-depth knowledge of all internal applications related to sales and marketing. 
  • Executes outbound telesales campaigns, manages assigned leads and opportunities and employs professional selling skills in their sales pursuit. 
  • Accurately manages customer relationships while recording data generated from these efforts in the customer relations management system (CRM). 
  • Actively creates new sales leads and enters both internal and external leads. 
  • Qualifies Sales leads by assessing need, budget, and buying authority. Obtains basic qualifying information including (but not limited to) time frame for purchase, decision maker(s), budget, influencing factors, and next step in the sales process. 
  • Effectively nurtures leads; builds relationships by conducting ongoing, informative dialog that helps qualified prospects who are not yet sales-ready. Moves each lead to the next step in the sales cycle at the appropriate time.

What You Need to Succeed

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA), qualified candidate should be competitive and have the desire to excel in a fast paced sales environment, the ability to connect with various personality types, two to three years of any combination of customer service, sales, or marketing related experience; Inbound or outbound call center experience, and tele-selling skills training, are desirable.
