METTLER TOLEDO Process Analytics (MTPRO) is a leading supplier to end-users and system integrators for liquid analytical measurement solutions to control production processes. METTLER TOLEDO Thornton, a Strategic Business Unit within MTPRO, is the leader in pure and ultrapure industrial water monitoring instrumentation used in semiconductor, microelectronics, power generation, pharmaceutical, and biotech applications. Our core competence is the in-line measurement of conductivity, resistivity, TOC, dissolved oxygen, dissolved ozone and related parameters in determining and controlling water purity.

Supports the marketing communications (MarCom) and product marketing teams by coordinating and developing content and sales tools, advertising, trainings, meetings and special events, internally and within the Process Analytics (PRO) Division. Helps industry and product managers organize and prepare data and trend summaries, research and competitive analysis, forecasts, proposals, reports and presentations for internal and external communications as well as strategic planning. Consolidates monthly reports for the product marketing team, in preparation for Department Head’s input and distribution.

Supports the MarCom function with moderate to high level graphic design and writing capabilities in the creation of marketing materials. Coordinates the distribution of marketing materials, launch packages, and Strategic Business Unit (SBU) announcements to PRO colleagues and global Marketing Organization (MO) partners. Manages translations process for marketing documents, manuals, etc.; is the liaison between external translation company and global market organizations and ensures accounts are managed. Provides support for staff and guest travel reservations and meeting/training coordination. 

Technical Writing:
Support industry and product managers with technical writing including white papers, case studies, internal and external newsletter articles, ad copy, monthly reports, etc.

Project Management:
Manage, proofread, design and distribute quarterly internal newsletters.
Manage translations by requesting quotes and tracking status of projects, local validation, budget and account payment, and ensuring compliance with brand formatting guidelines.
Assist with content development by coordinating contributor schedules for on time completion.
Coordinate and interface with promotional and print suppliers.

Event Coordination Support:
Organize and coordinate on-site trainings and departmental activities including food, beverage, promotional items/gifts, photo opportunities and transportation to and from social/team building events.
Facilitates hotel, passport and visa requirements.

MARCOM and Graphic Design Support 
Design print and digital marketing materials using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. This includes brochures, print ads, web banner ads, infographics and tradeshow and internal graphics (also responsible for making these pieces press-ready).
Layout of operation, service manuals and quick start guides. Coordinate photography for manuals as needed.
Coordinate THORNTON Catalog updates by consolidating edits for all parameters, removing pages for obsolesced products, and providing content and layout for new product pages.
Provide photography for employee photo directory, product images and video support as needed.
Coordinate distribution of technical and marketing documents on the company website and internal SharePoint sites. 
Oversee design and production of internal print pieces including letterhead and business cards. 
Act as a brand ambassador by following and enforcing brand guidelines.
Maintain and organize document archives.

Work Relationships:
Provide support to THORNTON Product Management, Industry Marketing, Applications Specialists and MARCOM team members.
Communicate regularly with THORNTON management, international SBU and MO colleagues to meet team goals.
May participate in cross-departmental and cross divisional teams.

What You Need to Succeed

B.S. or B.A Degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced professional technology based company.  
A highly organized, goal-oriented team player who pays close attention to details, yet is a strong multi-tasker. Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
Is a self-motivated individual with a positive outlook who can work with minimal supervision and within a team.
Has strong Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite skills, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Experience with SAP CRM a plus.
Basic DSLR photography skills.
A self-starter who must be comfortable in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Must have an inquisitive nature and a willingness to complete challenging assignments in a team environment.
