This position interacts with all levels of personnel internally and externally requiring excellent communication skills, both oral and written. The position requires a significant amount of expertise as it relates to a wide variety of issues ranging from pc's, networking and operating systems to mobile devices and security.  A qualified candidate will support the ability to connect users to the data they need to do their jobs regardless of the devices being used.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 
  • This position is responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and resolving all incoming trouble tickets and requests to the IT department.  Issues will be dealt with in a timely manner or escalated to the appropriate team locally or externally.  The position will answer all calls and emails from customers, answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, investigate problems and provide information. 
  • Provides resolution for escalated service tickets
  • Works with clients to evaluate and solve technical problems
  • Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement system changes
  • Configures and supports internal and/or external networks
  • Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
  • Troubleshoots network performance
  • Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
  • Maintains a log of completed work using an incident-tracking application.
  • Maintain an effective SOX environment.
  • Identifying, using, and connecting hardware components and devices
  • Explain types of networks and connections including TCP/IP, WIFI and SOHO
  • Install & configure laptops and other mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot device and network issues
  • Install and support Windows OS including command line & client support
  • Troubleshoot PC and mobile device issues including application security support
  • Identify and protect against security vulnerabilities for devices and their network connections
  • Install and upgrade client systems
  • Manage applications, files, and folder structures

What You Need to Succeed

Understand OS system configurations and maintenance 
Proven ability to configure, manage, and maintain essential network devices
Must be able to troubleshoot devices such as switches, access points, and routers to sustain and support the local networks
Implement network security, standards, and protocols
Follow best practices for safety, environmental impacts, and communication and professionalism 
Must be organized, efficient and detail-oriented 
Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to foster interaction within all levels of the organization
Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines 
Able to work under high stress environment
Compiles, maintains, and prepares various operational reports, logs and files
Punctual, consistent and regular attendance is required
Other duties as assigned
