We are looking for a passionate, skilled, ambitious person to help bring these products to more customers in Europe and bring lasting impact to our customer’s businesses.

The Scale-up Suite (SuS) Technology and Application Consultant (TAC) – Europe, is responsible for technical and applications support and market development for the METTLER TOLEDO (MT) Scale-up Systems business. The SuS TACs are respected in the field for their technical expertise and are constantly learning about our customers products, processes, and new application spaces. They are partners with the industry’s top development chemists and chemical engineers providing technical support for a wide range of applications in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and high-value chemical industries. This position is very team-oriented, working closely with various account management teams, the SuS Marketing Group, Regional Sales Manager, and TAC Team Leaders. Geographical travel is involved to customer sites as well as the top specialist conferences. 

What You Need to Succeed

• BS Degree in Science or Engineering required; MS or Ph.D. preferred;
• 1-3 years of industry experience: organic chemist, chemical engineer, or process development chemist.
• Experience in process development, Process Analytical technology, pharmaceutical industry, specialty chemicals, or industrial chemical manufacturing preferred;
• Open and effective communication style, excellent public presentation skills, strong people skills, cross-organisational teamwork, and the ability to interact with and influence the direction of key opinion leaders in the industry.
• Affinity with equipment sales or other commercial working environments;
• Solid Skills in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
