Sales Operations Manager

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Summary:   The Sales Operation Manager is a key role within the Eagle Organization. The Role is responsible for all sales and service transaction processes, including but not limited to, quotes, order entry, order management of new equipment, spare parts, returns and service visits. In addition, the Sales Operations Manager will develop and implement business processes that help the sales and service teams run effectively and efficiently in support of business strategies and objectives.  The role is also responsible for the MO/PO communication – for daily coordination and escalation activities with the PO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage a successful sales support team and ensure that the team consistently meets or exceeds sales performance metrics.
  • Manage and continuously improve all product, parts, returns and scheduling transaction processes, including but not limited to quotes, order entry, order management.
  • Develop and maintain standardized quotation processes across the business globally to drive efficiency and improve resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with the Eagle leadership team to ensure business processes address specific segment needs while ensuring consistency across the organization.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations.
  • Improve sales processes by having a strong grasp of sales data and analytics of that data.
  • Organize MO finished goods inventory builds and available machines for demo and quick ship orders.
  • Perform SCM tasks needed for transactions that are unique to Eagle: MO to MO stock transfers, 3rd party integrators and materials needed for Application and Service.   
  • MO/PO communication – for daily coordination and escalation activities with the PO.
  • Generate monthly and annual projections, reports, and fully utilize company's CRM program and other systems to support the business requirements for information updates and reporting.
  • Comply with all relevant company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed


  • Understanding of X-ray inspection principles and Eagle PI products
  • Strong analytical and business process skills
  • Ability to identify problems and implement recommended solutions
  • Focus on customer relationships (internal and external).
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to make difficult, and sometimes unpopular decisions, and able to use good judgment within scope of authority
  • Clear, concise, and timely written and verbal communications.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to meet aggressive goals, to meet deadlines, multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.

Education, Experience:

§  4 year degree or equivalent experience in a Sales Support leadership position

§  Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

§  Knowledge and experience working in ERP and CRM systems.
