Project Leader - Weigh In Motion

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The primary role of the Leader is to organize and direct our project initiatives in the various segments of the WIM (Weigh In Motion) business. This individual will use common project management tools to assist in the planning, execution and completion of projects according to defined customer and company requirements, providing technical support, and schedule of maintenance (PM's). This will include assisting in project organization, tracking and reporting project progress and support calls, managing the resource planning process, and communicating to project stakeholders as required. 

  • Understand project scope, goals and deliverables that support project timelines 
  • Maintain and archive all necessary project documents 
  • Work with other internal departments to coordinate service installations, warranties, support and other related elements for overall project success 
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans within areas of expertise 
  • Deliver progress reports weekly and at times present the results
  • Traveling overnight 75-80% of the time

What You Need to Succeed

  • A minimum of 3 years of project leadership and project management experience or Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering, Technology, or construction Management 
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans within areas of expertise. 
  • Effectively coordinate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely fashion.
