Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Our Data Analytics team is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to fill our entry-level SAP Data Steward position.  If you love working with data, this position may be for you.  You will interact with and train associates on SAP, implement system changes to deepen and widen use of good data and standard processes, and help improve data quality and consistency.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the day-to-day management of data in SAP, our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Performing quality checks to ensure high quality of locally used master data
  • Assisting with data cleansing and retrofit activities
  • Managing master data by: clearing up the legacy master data, enriching the fields, and executing manual de-duplication tasks
  • Providing analysis of major business process KPIs such as Marketing Lead Generation, Opportunities, Campaign Performance, Quotes and Orders to address business needs and to guide sales and marketing decisions
  • Assisting in operational pricing activities ensuring SAP pricing models are implemented consistently and accurately among service leaders. Perform pricing changes as needed to support the business.
  • Developing database queries, appending data, monitoring data quality and undertaking projects to constantly improve SAP data quality to meet the needs of marketing strategic programs
  • Pulling lists from databases for target marketing, prospecting and lead generation activities
  • Providing support to Sales and Marketing departments and closely collaborating with the customer care group with master data related topics
  • Collecting all the key market information, customer accounts, leads, and prospects into a central knowledgebase 

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science, Business or related field required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in CRM databases or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic familiarity with current and legacy business data systems
  • Advanced computer skills; knowledge of SAP/Tableau/MS Excel highly desireable
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently provide data/inputs/verification and enrichments towards a large amount of data
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and be able to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, internal departments and other METTLER TOLEDO employees
  • Proactive and strong customer orientation with a hands-on mentality
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to make group presentations and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
  • Must be detail-oriented
