Assembly Team Lead

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The Assembly Team Lead is responsible for organizing the daily assignment of associates, working with the Production Supervisor to understand the days production requirements, and contribute to the areas production lines success. 

  • Supervising and guiding team members 
  • Creating work schedules and assigning tasks 
  • Monitoring team performance and productivity 
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions 
  • Training and coaching team members 
  • Communicating effectively with team members and with Production Supervisor 
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures 
  • Tracking and reporting team progress and achievements 
  • Collaborating with other team leads and departments to achieve shared goals. 
  • Act as second level support when issues arise 
  • Work on productions lines to round out the production team
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced team-oriented production environment 
  • Basic computer skills, SAP experience would be a plus 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to lead initiatives and work as part of a project team 
  • Commitment to develop the team and drive continuous improvement 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and instructions. 
  •  Ability to communicate expectations to others
