- Together with the SBU Metal Detection and the Sales department of PIUS-MO, manage the Metal Detection product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution in the Americas.
- Support the Sales and Service departments of PIUS-MO in growing the profitable Metal Detection Product and Service sales through the MT PI sales channels and for meeting/exceeding product line sales and profitability targets. Key aspects are USPs of MT Metal Detection and value selling.
- Provide support and inspiration to the Marketing and the Strategic Business Unit (SBU), in all efforts to generate leads and sales tools, to support the sales of Metal Detection products and Service.
- Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by regular customer visits. Works closely with the PO and SBU Product Management and Engineering teams to develop concepts for future product and service offerings.
- Become an expert with respect to the competition and the market and share this expertise within the PI Division.
- Understand the applications for Metal Detection and the principles to define a Metal Detection solution for given requirements. Understand the differentiation to competition and value adding
- Metal Detection options that are drivers to convert orders.
- In conjunction with the SBU Metal Detection and PIUS-MO Sales management, develop and implement new product launch programs.
- Develop and maintain pricing structure for the entire Metal Detection Product portfolio and propose price increases on a periodic basis, based on competitive strengths and market developments. All pricing initiatives and amendments are to be approved by the GM.
- Travel to customer sites with Regional Sales Managers and Sales Reps as needed to support the profitable growth of the Metal Detection business segment.
- Act as a liaison between PIUS-MO and its internal Mettler Toledo suppliers as needed to support the growth and profitability targets.

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 10 years of business/technical experience and a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Product Manager, with demonstrated success developing and executing product line growth strategies
