Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As a Field Sales Representative, you will take ownership of pipette sales across your territory, growing new business while strengthening long-term customer relationships. You’ll work closely with scientists, laboratory managers, and internal teams to understand customer needs and deliver high-quality solutions using our industry-leading RAININ products.
This is a field-based role with regular travel to customer sites, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture key UK accounts, establishing strong, strategic partnerships with customers.
- Proactively generate leads and build a solid pipeline for both immediate and future sales opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to advance sales prospects from initial qualification through to order fulfillment.
- Keep customer and prospect data accurate and current using CRM systems.
- Develop and maintain in-depth technical expertise on RAININ and other METTLER TOLEDO product offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer value by conducting site visits, hosting seminars, and participating in industry events.
- Regularly share insights on market developments and performance within your sales territory.
- BSc in a life science discipline.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment, with strong understanding of pipettes.
- Proven account management experience within the life sciences sector.
- Territory management experience and strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, disciplined, and committed to continuous improvement.
