Junior Trade Compliance Specialist (all genders)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are looking for Junior Trade Compliance Specialist (all genders) who will ensure that the company complies with international trade regulations, including customs, sanctions, export and import restrictions and other legislation. Your main focus will be on European market.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Export Compliance
  • Daily verification of blocked business partners and transactions,
  • Support Export Compliance Authorizations and related tasks,
  • Support Administration of Product Assessments,
  • Create various reports,
  • Assist in developing, maintaining and updating of export control compliance policies and procedures securing global company governance program
Customs Compliance
  • Tariff classification for new products according to appropriate regulations incl. coordination with our Business Partners and customs brokers,
  • Maintenance of HTS changes during the year,
  • Data alignment with other units/ regions (HTS code and Country of Origin),
  • Support establishment of an exchange platform with the Trade Compliance counterparts in the different regions.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in international business,
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken, min. B2),
  • Good skills in MS Office (Excel),
  • Numerical and analytical skills,
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders,
  • SAP (or other ERP system), BI, SAP HANA, SAC and reporting would be an asset.

The recruitment process consists of the following steps:
  • CV selection – we contact selected candidates
  • Phone screening with a recruiter (approx. 15 min)
  • Initial interview with the Manager or technical Expert (video conference, approx. 1 hour)
