Overview
  • The Data Governance Solution Specialist acts as a technical solution expert and is responsible for the design and build of Data Governance processes and solutions with Customer, Sales and Marketing data solutions. The role is responsible for design, implementation, training, documentation, and communication of these processes within the Data Governance team. This position has a direct impact on the overall ability to achieve high quality master data within METTLER TOLEDO. 
Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing applications using ABAP, SAP MDG, WebDynpro, HANA and other related technologies.
  • Applying design methodologies and tool sets; completing configuration and programming; designing and conducting development tests.
  • Taking part in the workshops and other meetings to understand the requirements, functional and technical scope of requested changes and the priorities on the business side.
  • Completing application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development problems across multiple master data management process areas.
  • Providing hypercare support as well as application maintenance support for the users of the systems supported by DG Product Team(s).
  • Presenting strong ownership of driven changes, supporting delivery and making sure that change properly goes through its lifecycle.
  • Recommending system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of the SAP MDG and other related standard application offerings vs custom development.

What You Need to Succeed


Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' SAP ABAP experience.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in SD/MM or Data Governance preferred.
  • Have knowledge of ABAP, ABAP OO, SAP MDG, WebDynpro HANA and other related technologies are additional advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; required in functional teams and with business partners.
  • Structured, detailed working methodology; continuous improvement approach and process oriented.
  • Understands and respects different cultures.
  • Likes to work in a Global and fast moving environment.
  • Requires minimal travel (less than 20%).
  • Excellent English (written and oral)
