- Must have 10-15 years of relevant hands-on experience
- Experience in setting up a DevOps framework for applications ( Windows, Linux) and for microservices (Docker and Helm on Kubernetes) using CI/CD tools like Jenkins / Teamcity / Circle CI / GitLab / Spinnaker / Azure Pipelines / Azure DevOps / Rancher is a must.
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of Linux/Windows/Docker/helm/kubernetes fundamentals and system and application deployment automation with shell scripting, Python, Azure automation, or similar scripting are a must.
- Experience in infrastructure as code with tools like Ansible / CHEF / Puppet / Terraform / Packer / ARM Template on VMWare vSphere and/or Azure is a must.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC tools and processes like Test Automation and Code Review using e. g. AzureDevOps / Artifactory / GitHub / GitLab is a must.
- Good understanding of the end to end DevOps Process and its implementation for applications and lab environments is a must, working knowledge of relevant security, networking, monitoring, and storage is a plus.
- Experience in Azure is a plus.
- Experience in build tools like maven / Gradle / MsBuild is a plus.
- Experience in packaging tools like Wix / InstallShield / IzPack and NuGet / apt is a plus.
- As a Senior DevOps Engineer Professional, you are responsible for application CI/CD pipelines (Cloud and Non-Cloud) and play an active role establishing the road map for DevOps & Cloud practices.
- Implement the strategies defined by product and software architects, and design, build, and optimize comprehensive automated build and test systems that operate the applications.
- Work with product and test leads on the test automation integration.
- Lead and mentor Jr DevOps engineers.
- Work closely with local and remote development teams to reproduce/troubleshoot/fix environment issues and ensure seamless DevOps integration across the SDLC.
- Be a DevOps Evangelist, lead efforts of cloud migration, and boost maturity of operational processes and adoption across SWDC-IN
