HR Operations Manager

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

To our office based in Warsaw we are looking for an experience HR Operations Manager to drive the implementation of a modern HR Service Delivery model including centralized and locally delivered services. 
The HR Operations Manager Europe has a great opportunity to establish, manage and optimize programs, processes and best practices to support HR teams in delivering a world-class employee experience in a growing and changing environment.
Person in this role will also own the HR technology roadmap for Europe and help the countries advance in their digitalization journey.

Your responsibilities: 
  • HR Shared Service Center Management:
    • Establish and manage the HR Shared Service Center operation; manage the SLA, drive operational excellence and appropriately staff and coach the service delivery team.
    • Establish and enable operations for the initial service portfolio.
    • In collaboration with local HR teams, continuously explore the standardization; re-design and industrialize related processes.
    • Drive continuous operational improvements by exploring process re-design, digitalization & automation as well as applying training and coaching of HR SSC team members.
    • Engage with other SSC managers within MT to drive best practices.
    • Support the change management efforts of the HR Transformation.
  • Regional HR Operations Management:
    • Set and drive a digital strategy and HR operational excellence agenda across all European countries.
    • Lead the regional technology roadmap and drive its implementation and adoption.
    • Build and maintain a European HR operations community; share relevant information, drive knowledge and understanding and develop regional best practices.
    • Support countries in local operational projects and topics (payroll, administration, technology, etc.); provide guidance and expertise as required.
    • Closely collaborate with HR IT on system and process fixes and enhancements where necessary.
  • HR Data and Compliance Management:
    • Align with group on compliance requirements and best practices and provide respective guidance to the European HR community; create an adequate operational governance to ensure compliance.
    • Develop capabilities that allow the transition to a data driven workforce management.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree, 
  • At least 5 years of HR Operations / HR Shared Service Center management experience, 
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills both in English and Polish,
  • Track record of successfully implementing new Shared Service Center operations and related technologies,
  • Extensive experience in managing a service delivery center, SLA management and process design,
  • Strong project management, planning, prioritizing, problem-solving and analytical skills,
  • High level of interest in and affinity for technology, process digitalization and process automation,
  • Proficient in one of the major cloud-based HR Platforms (SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, UKG, etc),
  • Advanced knowledge in data management and analytics,
  • Strong collaborator on all levels of the organization and with a strong hands-on attitude,
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills,
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision,
  • Readiness to travel,
  • Open-minded, energetic and proactive personality.
