- You lead and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) team to ensure project lifecycle management processes (PLM framework) are followed, and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in a cross-functional project setup and an international environment
- You develop, implement, and continuously improve project management methodologies, tools, and best practices based on METTLER TOLEDO frameworks to ensure consistent and efficient project execution across the organization
- You provide strategic guidance and support to project managers to ensure they have the necessary resources, training, and tools to deliver successful projects
- You ensure project performance metrics are established, monitored, and reported to senior management to enable informed decision-making
- You promote continuous improvements to drive process efficiency and effectiveness
- You coordinate cross-functional product development and industrialization projects to ensure fully integrated development, accountability, and proper alignment of key deliverables with project timelines. These activities include:
- Managing technical requirements aligned with market requirements in close collaboration with the relevant Product Managers/Product Owners and key stakeholders and communities within AutoChem and other business areas from METTLER TOLEDO
- Integrating service, manufacturability, and quality requirements
- Coordinating R&D activities (Software, Firmware, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering, Testing)
- Collaborating with the Production Organization (PO) to establish a robust supply chain and ensure an efficient transfer to manufacturing
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, a related technical or scientific field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, an advanced degree is preferred
- You have five or more years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in a mechatronics and/or software products development organization and ideally with line management experience
- You are experienced working in a matrix, and ideally international, environment
- You have an open and effective communication style, excellent public presentation skills, and the ability to interact with key stakeholders in a global organization
- You are a strong team player with the ability to lead by example
- You possess excellent organizational and planning skills
- You have strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities
- You have demonstrated experience in facilitating teams and/or projects in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, or supply chain management environment
- You hold a PMP/IPMA Certification, which is a plus
- You have knowledge of SAP, which is a plus
- You have experience in Azure DevOps, which is a plus
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, German language skills are a plus
