We are looking for a junior Engineer who will be co-responsible for developing high-quality technological solutions for industrial weighing equipment. You will work in a small, close-knit team of hardware and software engineers at an international market leader in the field of weighing technology.
What are you going to do?
As a junior Engineer, you will be involved in every step of the development of our weighing, measurement and detection systems; from requirements to devising, developing the entire system and testing.
You are responsible for the technical design, taking into account the established specifications and guidelines.
Your day-to-day work will include:
• Translating customer requirements into a design;
• Drawing electrical diagrams and technical drawings;
• Designing, drawing and detailing mechanical components/products;
• Testing the realized solution based on the specifications and the technical design;
• Knowledge of PLC systems such as Siemens S7
• Integrating the various Mettler Toledo modules (via various field-bus communication systems);
• You contribute to improvements in electrical/mechanical schematics, tools and documentation and you participate in the development of standards.
What You Need to Succeed
• You have at least a bachelor's degree in one of the following directions: Electrical Engineering/Electromechanics/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering or similar;
• You have knowledge of E-Plan;
• You have knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor;
• You have an affinity with automation;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English language (must);
• You are customer-oriented and function both independently and in a team;
• You are accurate, communicative, structured and a go-getter;
• You live within a radius of +/- 50 km around Tiel (pre).
