CNC Plasma Fabricator - 2nd Shift

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The CNC Plasma Operator works from production orders, routings, blueprints, and process documentation to appropriately layout, fit, cut and form fabricated materials to create required parts/products. The operator also inspects parts for acceptable tolerances based on documentation, confirms the material in the MRP system, and delivers product to the next internal/external customer. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Safely operate CNC Plasma table Read, understand and comprehend basic blueprints and drawings 
  • Layout, fit, cut, and form materials using support tools such as production orders, standard work, blue prints, and other documents related to the 
  • Engineering/Customer specification Grinding, de burring, cleaning parts, cutting and removal of scraps 
  • Accurately enter data into the MRP (e.g. SAP) system and ensure that inventory is accurately stated 
  • Maintain stock control, pull items for orders, work in other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer orders 
  • Safely operate fork trucks and cranes

What You Need to Succeed

  • High School graduate with excellent math and reading / writing ability 
  • CNC Plasma table experience 
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure, operate overhead cranes and other hand/pneumatic tools
