Welder I - 2nd Shift (M - Th 2:15 - 12:45 AM)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Role/Purpose:
Prep work weldments from engineering drawings utilizing band saws, drill press, hand 
grinders, and TIG/MIG welding stainless steel. Product finishing to specified levels. Perform 
Product Finisher duties when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 
  • Group together required parts prescribed in BOM 
  • Weld and setup sub-assemblies for other welders 
  • Control raw material inventory and ensure correct materials are allocated 
  • Ensure in-house job routers are correct and completed 
  • Follow SOP and OPLs 
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to assemble weldments from drawings 
  • Operation of a TIG/MIG welder, setup, and maintenance 
  • Operate drill press, and band saw 
  • Utilize hand grinders/sanders to perform grain finishing 
  • Proficient blueprint knowledge, with attention to dimensions and tolerances 
  • Proficient in mathematical equations (standard and metric) 
  • Familiar with fabrication shop practices 
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie stand, sit, lay, squat, 
  • bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time

This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.

**OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS.**


Minimum Education / Experience Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Trade School or Apprentice Program or 1 - 3 years minimum experience in similar position
