- Group together required parts prescribed in BOM
- Weld and setup sub-assemblies for other welders
- Control raw material inventory and ensure correct materials are allocated
- Ensure in-house job routers are correct and completed
- Follow SOP and OPLs
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to assemble weldments from drawings
- Operation of a TIG/MIG welder, setup, and maintenance
- Operate drill press, and band saw
- Utilize hand grinders/sanders to perform grain finishing
- Proficient blueprint knowledge, with attention to dimensions and tolerances
- Proficient in mathematical equations (standard and metric)
- Familiar with fabrication shop practices
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie stand, sit, lay, squat,
- bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade School or Apprentice Program or 1 - 3 years minimum experience in similar position
