Position Description & Responsibilities:  

Are you an experienced financial analyst motivated to contribute to the success of a business unit?  Do you have an intellectual curiosity to understand the factors driving results and can provide insightful commentary on financial performance?  If so, we have an opportunity for you to be a key contributor in our organization.  

This role provides financial support to our Process Analytics (marketing) and Thornton (production) organizations by analyzing and modeling financial data that identify trends, explain variances, and raise awareness of potential issues. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with the functional area departments and technical resources to assess business needs and improve/develop efficient and effective analysis and reporting tools. Your responsibilities would include:


  • Support the Sales, Operations, and Finance teams by providing accurate and timely financial reporting and performance analysis
  • Utilizing modeling tools, prepare sales forecasts and provide guidance to Senior Management on significant fluctuations, upsides and risks.
  • Perform analytical review of sales and margin results versus prior year, budget, and forecast.
  • Lead monthly calculation and reconciliation process of regional and national sales commissions by coordinating with senior sales managers and data stewards to ensure data integrity
  • Analyze operational and functional area period expenses. Develop trend analysis to identify risks and opportunities. Communicate findings and recommendations to Senior Management.
  • Support Senior Management in the development of annual Sales Compensation Plans, and collaborate with Accounting team to establish and track monthly accruals
  • Provide ad hoc support to the corporate departments and operations functions as required.

What You Need to Succeed

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience. Experience in manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting or related field.  MBA a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills. Experience with SAP and SAP Business Intelligence (BI) a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and high attention to detail
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work proactively, independently and in a team environment.
  • Commitment to continuous personal development and process improvement.
