- Lead complex, cross-functional R&D projects involving mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines, ensuring strong technical alignment and effective collaboration across teams.
- Own the full project lifecycle from concept through industrialization, ensuring delivery of project scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
- Coordinate across global sites and functions, fostering transparent communication and alignment among R&D, operations, supply chain, quality, service, finance, and product management.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, proactively managing dependencies, risks, changes to ensure on-time and on-quality execution.
- Drive decision-making and prioritization, balancing business goals, technical challenges, and available resources.
- Translate complex technical topics and challenges into clear, structured updates for senior management and steering committee members.
- Coach and guide project teams, promoting ownership, accountability, and a culture of trust and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to process and tool enhancements, sharing best practices and supporting the evolution of project management within the organization.
- A university degree in mechanical, electrical, or software engineering, or a comparable field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in leading cross functional R&D or product development projects within a high-tech environment.
- Proven ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams, manage trade-offs, and deliver results in a structured global organization.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and the full product development lifecycle, with hands-on experience in both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build trust across functions and within the organization.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities, capable of translating complex ideas into clear, actionable messages.
- A solution-oriented and analytical mindset, combining strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Understanding quality, documentation, and compliance requirements in regulated or precision-focused environment is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Willingness to travel internationally depending on project phase and collaboration needs.
