Territory Sales Representative

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As our Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for dealer management and account development. As part of the role, you will proactively seek opportunities to expand dealer portfolios, ensure OHAUS products are properly and accurately represented by dealers, communicate new product launches and dealer facing promotion, develop and execute specific dealer focused marketing/sales campaigns, and conduct regular business reviews with key dealer accounts within assigned territory and serve as backup for lead entry and order entry overflow. Your key duties and responsibilities will include: 
  • Developing strong dealer relationships. 
  • Executing outbound telesales campaigns, telemarketing campaigns, employing professional selling skills in their pursuit, and accurately managing and recording data generated from these efforts. 
  • Lead management activities and proactive communication with sales team. 
  • Targeting low revenue but high potential accounts. 
  • Guiding dealers toward OHAUS solutions, quoting on desired solutions, and managing orders in a timely manner. 
  • Assisting marketing, sales, and sales support management by providing weekly updates about recurring business issues that require a proactive approach, or trends that suggest alternate sales offers or approaches.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; Life Sciences background preferred.
  • Or an Associate’s degree with any combination of Customer Service, Sales, or Marketing related experience.
  • 1-3 years of work experience in customer service, sales or a related job area.
  • Have the ability to work independently and in a remote/home office environment.
  • Must be able to set priorities, meet critical deadlines, and be flexible to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Inbound or outbound call center experience is a plus.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
