- First- and second-level support for PCs, laptops, printers, and IP telephony / MS Teams telephony, as well as local network hardware and software including operating systems.
- Re-/staging of computers and end devices.
- Active Directory administration, including accounts, groups, mailboxes, and group policies.
- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of standard software and tokens.
- System management and client administration with SCCM / Intune.
- Management of permissions for large data volumes and file structures.
- Participation in SOX audits and controls (e.g. patching, antivirus, AD access).
- Participation in, and in some cases taking responsibility for, rollouts of hardware and software.
- Basic client engineering and packaging tasks.
- Technical responsibility for defined workplace topics and actively contributing to the further development of standards, processes, and documentation.
- Contributing to the coordination of workplace activities across sites and independently prioritizing tasks within the team.
- Providing deputy support to Area IT Management in day-to-day operations (e.g. prioritization, escalations, coordination).
- Communication and coordination with internal and external IT partners and vendors in connection with changes, updates, and incidents.
- Completed training as an IT specialist or comparable technical basic training.
- Several years of experience in a workplace, endpoint or client-focused IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of products, market and technology in the areas of PCs, printers, mobile devices, LAN as well as Office and collaboration solutions.
- Sound experience with Windows operating systems, MS Office products and ideally Dell hardware.
- Experience with SCCM, Intune and software packaging is an advantage.
- Strong service and customer focus, with a communicative and team-oriented personality.
- Confident and supportive approach to internal stakeholders and specialist teams, with a proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.
- Fluent in English; German is highly beneficial, but not required.
