Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Job Description:
• Plan, create, and manage product documentation with a focus on Reference Manuals, User Manuals, Installation Instructions
• Develop and implement content strategies, document structure
• Target group-oriented content creation and maintenance in the XML-based CMS (SCHEMA ST4)
• Research and gather information from SMEs for creation of product documentation
• Ability to understand complex technologies (hardware, software) and create clear and concise technical information
• Create the technical content in English language in compliance with technical writing standards
• Create technical illustrations from 3D CAD data and User interface (UI) images of the instrument
• Document the working methodology and assist in creating standard workflow procedures
• Perform peer review of documents created by other technical writers to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Improve documentation processes and standards including terminology consistency, review workflows and creation of process documents
• Mentoring of junior writers
• Facilitate regular reviews with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and ensure high-quality outputs that meet user needs
What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualification / Requirements:
• Degree in technology (e.g., engineering, etc.)
• 6-10 years’ experience in technical writing
• Project management skills (Planning & prioritization of tasks, estimation, stakeholder communication and risk mitigation)
• Experienced SCHEMA ST4 or any other component content management system (CCMS) software
• Experienced in using illustration tools
• Experience working with R&D team and product managers in agile environment
• Attention to detail: Meticulous focus on formatting, terminology and accuracy
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently on projects
• High quality awareness
