Field Sales Specialist - Thermal Analysis

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Field Sales Specialist – Thermal Analysis to join our UK sales team. You will be responsible for delivering sales growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and creating value-driven solutions for customers across a range of industries.
Working closely with colleagues across sales, marketing, service, and application teams, you will help strengthen our market position while achieving ambitious growth objectives within the Thermal Analysis business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve UK sales and growth targets within defined Thermal Analysis product areas.
  • Drive sales force efficiency in line with targets and agreed KPIs.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute account penetration plans for key customer accounts.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Utilise CRM and SET tools effectively throughout the sales process, ensuring accurate pipeline management and reporting.
  • Deliver exceptional customer value through consultative selling and solution-based discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support customer projects and business objectives.
  • Organise and participate in customer visits, technical seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and industry events.



What You Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience in technical sales, scientific instrumentation, laboratory solutions, or a related field.
  • Background in Thermal Analysis, Materials Characterisation, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong account management and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-centric mindset.
  • Full UK driving licence.
