CNC Fabricator Machinist ll - 2nd Shift (M- Th 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Role/Purpose:
Capable of operating Machining and Turning Center including, but not limited to, loading and unloading changing set-ups and ensuring quality in every part manufactured, safely and efficiently.                

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines, installing programs and editing
  • Follow the Schedule
  • Perform inspection checks on processed parts
  • Operate machinery daily in an advanced safety conscious manner 
  • Perform diagnostic checks and maintenance of machinery
  • Correctly usage of job tracking software (SAP)
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • CNC operational knowledge/understanding 
  • Proficient blueprint knowledge
  • Attention to Tolerances and interpretation
  • Understanding of tooling/set-up requirements
  • Ability to constantly improve machining knowledge
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie Stand, sit, laying, squat, bend, kneeling) for prolonged periods of time
  • Machine shop experience
  • Manual Machine Experience
  • Programming Experience
  • Setup Experience


This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.

**OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS.**

Minimum Education / Experience Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Trade School or Apprentice Program or a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in similar position
