CNC Brake Operator WEEKEND SHIFT (F/S/S 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Role/Purpose:
Capable of operating and editing programs for the CNC press brake.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines, installing programs and editing
  • Set priority tasks, using provided schedules / reports
  • Perform inspection checks on processed parts
  • Verify, change, or correct process layouts for parts
  • Operate machinery daily in an advanced safety conscious manner
  • Perform diagnostic checks and maintenance of machinery
  • Correct usage of job tracking software (SAP)
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • CNC operational knowledge/understanding
  • Proficient blueprint knowledge
  • Attention to Tolerances and interpretation 
  • Understanding of tooling/set-up requirements
  • Continuous Improvement of Machining area 
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (ie stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of time
  • AutoCAD knowledge / experience
  • Sheet metal experience
  • Press Brake knowledge
  • Machine shop experience
This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.

**OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS.**

Minimum Education / Experience Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Trade School or Apprentice Program or 1 - 3 years minimum experience in similar position
