- Qualification: BE / B.Tech / MCA / ME / M.Tech
- Must have 10+ Years of relevant experience ( 10-15 yrs)
- Good understanding of the end to end DevOps/DevSecOps Process & implementation for applications
- Extensive knowledge of Unix / Linux / Windows environments
- Excellent knowledge & Hands-on expertise with bash/shell scripting, Python and other scripting methods is a must
- Microservices deployment experience - Docker, Kubernetes, Helm is a must
- Deployment tools like Jenkins / Teamcity / Circle CI / GitLab / Spinnaker / Azure Pipeline(Azure DevOps) is a must
- Strong knowledge for a Source Control Management system like SVN / GitHub / Gitlab is a must
- Strong on Linux fundamentals.
- Experience in building devops framework for Windows & Linux based applications
- Infrastructure as a code tools like Terraform / ARM Template(Azure Resource Manager) is a plus.
- Experience in Configuration Management tools like Ansible / CHEF / Puppet, templating tools like Jinja is must
- Experience in Azure cloud & Azure Automation is a plus
- Experience in Build tools like maven / Gradle / MsBuild / NuGet is a plus
- Experience in packaging tools like Wix / InstallShield / IzPack is a plus
- Knowledge on Monitoring tools is a plus
- Working knowledge of file systems, Networking basics, Storage NAS / SAN is a plus
- As a DevOps Engineer Professional, you are responsible for designing the Application CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy software in any environment successfully (Cloud and Non-Cloud) based on the deployment strategies defined by the Architects.
- Work with product and software architects to design, build, and optimize comprehensive automated build and test systems that operate the application.
- Work with product and test leads on the test automation integration
- Lead and mentor Jr DevOps engineers
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce/troubleshoot environment issues.
- Lead efforts of cloud migration and evolve operational processes.
- Be a DevOps Evangelist to bring more maturity and adoption across the organization.
- Work with other functional teams to ensure seamless DevOps integration across the SDLC stages
- Play an active role in building strategies and road map for DevOps & Cloud practices.
