Senior Financial Analyst

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Mettler-Toledo PIUS-MO has an opening for a Sr. Financial Analyst position focusing on supporting the business leadership team in key business analysis / intelligence objectives reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager.
 
Summary:   Responsible for developing, analyzing, and preparing reports and analysis for the various business segments. Designs and builds meaningful reports for weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates, ensuring a high level of accuracy and integrity and enabling business decision making. Responsible for playing a vital role in pricing administration. This person will also be involved in the maintenance and daily finance operations within SAP.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Support Senior Management with analysis projects and reporting
  • Compiles data and present findings to senior leadership and other managers using various tools such as Power Query, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Business Intelligence, SAP ECC, SAP CRM, and VENDAVO
  • Prepares monthly performance reports, presentations on financial and pricing results, and key back office and field operational metrics for management decision making use
  • Correlates data across various reports, systems, and databases to find trends, forward looking indicators, and root causes
  • Ensures data integrity by performing profiling to identify and understand anomalies
  • Performs data analysis both at a micro and macro level
  • Expertly uses MS Office to build and maintain templates, documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Develops high understanding of internal system attributes and their correlation across multiple platforms
  • Builds new solutions to automate data processes and procedures
  • Coordinates cross-functional meetings to gain transparency to team goals to build meaningful analysis in support thereof
  • Continually builds business acumen w/ ability to apply to enhanced reporting output
  • Identifies key operational and performance metrics to measure business performance and drive reporting activities
  • Develops a working knowledge of the Company's CRM systems and develops the ability to create queries and run reports
  • Provides key support on pricing tasks, maintenance, and analysis
  • Other projects as assigned by leadership

Prerequisites (Education, Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business, or Mathematics or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • SAP Experience Preferred
