- Build working relationships with Unit Management and all departments
- Help implement the Lean Vision for the Unit
- Provide necessary training to all levels and functions at Rainin
- Facilitate Kaizen events and other Lean projects
- Work with team members at all levels to drive improvement solutions
- Manage all metrics related to the role
- Work with the supervisory group to monitor effectiveness of implementations to sustain Lean/Continuous Improvement standards
- Seeks out opportunities to improve team member knowledge base
- Assist leadership in demonstrating their commitment to continuous improvement and removing barriers that slow successful improvement initiatives
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Manager
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (e.g. Industrial, Mechanical) or equivalent experience
- A "Can Do" and resourceful attitude & ability work with diverse team is necessary to succeed in this role
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Lean Manufacturing Techniques/Principles
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing implementation
- Experience working in a fast paced team oriented environment
- Leadership skills and ability to lead diverse team
- A Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field or position is desired
- Strong interpersonal skills, clear communicator, and demonstrated relationship-building skills
- Ability to function through influence in the absence of having positional authority
- Ability to form a team without official authority to do so, and motivate that team to accomplish self-directed goals
- Self-Motivated with a proven record of taking initiative
- Able to take a leadership role in driving change
- Detail-Oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills
