Our Opening and Your Responsibilities


Summary   

As part of the Sterilization Center team, you will assist will all aspects of operation of the Electron Beam and conveyor system used for the sterilization of Rainin products. Alongside your supervisor and other team members you will load and unload product to the conveyor, operate the automated conveyor controls, troubleshoot and resolve problems, assist with fine detail tasks requiring manual dexterity and careful attention and assist with system maintenance. No experience with sterilization center operations is necessary - training will be provided for all tasks.  A successful candidate will be someone who is hard working, quick to learn and has attention to detail and above all, oriented to doing everything in a safe manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Operate and troubleshoot a complex conveyor system.
  • Load and unload boxes from a conveyor
  • Assist QA inspector placing and affixing cm size sensors inside product as part of dose mapping, and with other quality checks and testing
  • Assist maintenance engineer with equipment repairs.
  • Contribute ideas and observations during morning huddle meeting.
  • Operate a system database, creating production orders and other system configurations.
  • Maintain a safe, organized and clean work area.

  • Flexible – Strong ability to adapt to changing conditions and complete various tasks.
  • Available to work overtime or weekends as needed.
  • Provide Training and support to all Level automation technicians in large scale repairs.
  • Log equipment usage, work performed, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality.
  • Perform tasks alongside technical operations team members.
  • Interact and participate in a close knit team.
  • Flexible schedule to provide support in other shifts as requested.
  • Consistently maintain a positive attitude, volunteers for additional assignments and assists another team member as needed.
  • Ensure that 5S housekeeping in all work areas for a safe working environment. 
  • Able to communicate closely with Supervisor and address in a respectful manner all team members.
  • Be able to work with or without supervision to ensure machines, equipment's, and priorities are meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Availability to work different shifts including Weekdays and Weekend as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years’ experience in manufacturing
