Material Handler (Sterilization Center)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

• Unload pallets from trucks to the Loading Dock.
• Select pallets to process according to irradiation orders and directions from other staff.
• Initiate Radiation Orders, following presented instructions on loading orientation.
• Load and unload boxes from a conveyor
• Assist QA inspector placing and affixing cm size sensors inside product as part of dose mapping.
• Contribute ideas and observations during morning huddle meeting.
• Maintain a safe, organized and clean work area.

• Detail Oriented – Able to pay attention to the smallest details.
• Fine motor skills – Able to do detailed work requiring manual dexterity.
• Eager to Learn – Asks lots of questions
• Physical –  Able to stand for an extended period of time. Able to stoop, bend at the waist and reach above your head with a box. Able to lift up to 45lbs.     
• Team Player – Willing to learn multiple positions and help wherever necessary.
• Flexible – Strong ability to adapt to changing conditions and complete various tasks.
• Able to communicate closely with Supervisor and address in a respectful manner all team members.
• Be able to work with or without supervision to ensure machines, equipment's, and priorities are meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.


Education, Experience & Skills:

• 1-2 years’ experience in material handling
