Join us as our Continuous Improvement Engineer! 

You'll be the mastermind behind spreading best practices across the organisation, making sure our products and platforms aren't just great—they're a breeze to assemble every single time. You'll work hand-in-hand with the Customer Engineering and the New Product Development teams to ensure every product launch flows smoothly from design desk to production line. Plus, you'll set the gold standard for subsystem design and flawless integration, all within our sleek, lean manufacturing approach.

What You'll Do:
  • Identify inefficiencies and apply lean techniques across Operations
  • Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) Kaizen programs to enhance operational excellence
  • Manage change control of Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Help create and maintain a standardized design guide covering:
  - Good design practices
  - Reduction of material variation
  - Standardization and documentation of processes
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are documented, accurate, and regularly reviewed
  • Get hands-on with product designs when needed
  • Develop and manage build and test plans for Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and New Product Development (NPD) launches
  • Support Manufacturing team for successful new product builds
  • Review Bills of Materials before pre-production release
  • Influence R&D and NPD with improved Design for Manufacturing (DfM) practices
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience in a Production related engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical and /or Electrical, Manufacturing, Design)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with internal and external customers
  • Excellent problem-solving ability to establish root cause
  • Understanding of both mechanical and electrical technical drawings
  • Creativity and enthusiasm - a proactive team player with a ‘can do’ attitude is essential
  • A passion for improvement with attention to detail
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets
  • Good abilities with MS Project, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
